Cushing Brain Spatula is a unique instrument designed for use in neurosurgical procedures. It is double ended which makes it like having two tools in one with one side being larger. Each end features a slightly cup shaped depression that can be used for scooping. Additionally the scoops still maintain a flat profile that allows this instrument to be used more traditionally as a spatula for handling and maneuvering delicate brain tissue without causing injury via tears or by causing ischemia. This spatula is available in three different sizes to satisfy a variety of patient needs and surgeon preferences.
